The George And Dragon

I have started going down the George and Dragon every so often to call in for a drink with friends and I have always been made to feel so so welcome! Always got the footy on if you like that sort of thing and I have bought tickets for the Easter Raffle which they are doing Tonight 12 of us have had a meal as part of a baby shower for our friend and it was absolutely lovely! I had the garlic pizza bread to start(which was huge) and the beef stroganoff for main! I had no room for pudding this time round, although those that could manage a pudding the chocolate cake looked amazing! I will be down here more often as my parents would also like to try out the food now x

Literally just came back from my baby shower in the george and dragon and must say how overwhelmed I am. we were a party of 12 and gave a room towards the back of the pub we ordered drinks from the bar and were very fast sitting. our food came and I must say it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the lamb for me, it was nice and cooked to perfection. Nice came separated what is perfect, as many members of our party are laborious with sweet. the waitress could not do enough for us, and was a joy to be served by them. many thanks to george and dragon that they have made me a customer for living!

Had a fantastic night last night for my mums 70th birthday party, fantastic buffet of hot and cold food, everywhere decorated beautifully and nothing was too much trouble, even for a couple of fussy eaters, fresh plain sandwiches were made. Fantastic place and great staff. Thank you from us all.

3 of us had vegan meals: fajitas with fake chicken, burger, linguine with meatless meatballs. all were delicious and huge portions. fantastic to see such a diverse and well maintained menu in a local pub. we will definitely return.

extremely impressed by the gluten-free selection of foods here. all clear on the menu marked and important really tasty eating! great service also
