beautiful and dramatic traditional decor with large candelabras, filled animals, dark red and large, dark wood furniture. would not look out of place in a harry potter scene. menus with a modern twist including a dedicated vegan menu. Homemade curry especially delicious. small parking space at the back. toilets immaculate. excellent service from the young waiting staff and cook happy to have a chat as he goes through the restaurant. we will be back soon and look forward to it.

this place is a jewel. my daughter and I went to lunch today and it was lovely. the place is very cozy with traditional decor, the staff could not do enough for us and the eating was delicious. I will definitely come back. a walk around the beautiful village after that is a must.

The ambiance was pleasant, but the food was underwhelming and the wine was expensive. I ordered the stuffed Chicken with Mustard sauce and found both the sauce and black pudding to be overpowering.
