interesting to note some previous reviews here. too much fish on the menu for example. wow, we are really in the world of pampering. first it is expensive. but when they come to such a place, they know that it... will increase current market forces cost everywhere and eat more of a luxury for most of us. we were here for a 65. So we can come here every week? Of course not, we are neither rich nor famous. but we are very demanding and the cared, at least for us, fits into the bill. eating is good, the personal is welcoming and attentive and of course gt budworth is a brilliant, filmic place. beautiful and dramatic traditional decor with large candelabras, filled animals, dark red and large, dark wood furniture. would not look out of place in a harry potter scene. menus with a modern twist including a dedicated vegan menu. Homemade curry especially delicious. small parking space at the back. toilets immaculate. excellent service from the young waiting staff and cook happy to have a chat as he goes through the restaurant. we will be back soon and look forward to it.

this place is a jewel. my daughter and I went to lunch today and it was lovely. the place is very cozy with traditional decor, the staff could not do enough for us and the eating was delicious. I will definitely come back. a walk around the beautiful village after that is a must.

that was our first visit and I'm sure we'll come back. beautiful location in the center of great budworth. eating and service were both excellent. I would love her recipe for bark meat stroganoff?!

menu needs to be drastically extended. almost like a fish restaurant. there are other things they can use.
