VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!We had family coming to town for a weekend visit and we were excited to take them out to The Girl and The Vine' yesterday as we are frequent guests there. Since we had a one year old baby with us, we asked for a table inside. The young female who was working as hostess at the entrance offered a table downstairs. While we were in the process of taking the baby in the stroller to the table, other guests took the table and we were told that there is no longer a table for us. The whole customer experience was very poor and actually embarrassing in front of our guests as the hostess was snappy after she recognized our disappointment with being told we have a table and...

A wine bar, restaurant, market, and deli. The Girl and the Vine has something for everyone. Great food offerings from vegan mushroom Ruben to full charcuterie, sandwiches and much more. They have a great wine selection by the glass and the bottle, and plenty of delicious beers as well. Outdoor and indoor bar seating, serves your comfort level. They have an outdoor fireplace too, and cozy blankets.

THE place to go for wine in Takoma Park or DC. PERIOD. The pretzel, the schnitzel sandwich, the smoked trout dip, the cheeseburger. Amazingly personable and friendly service. In a pandemic. Saved my family for the past year; endlessly greteful.

the server was super friendly! She is nurse so I must wish her a happy nurse week. the menu is not the cheapest for me, although the ambiente is unbelievably and cozy/hidden. I'm glad I tried!
