The Glass Onion Griddle

The Glass Onion Griddle is the next in the line of restaurants to fill this building in Allen Park, hopefully they last, as it is nice to have a good breakfast place nearby. We went there shortly after opening and the place was pretty busy, granted it was a Sunday afternoon. The food was good, you can tell they put thought into it and really care about what ingredients they use. I had the omelet and my wife had the glass onion combo. Both were good, the server was nice, and the atmosphere was alright (again, just a little loud as it was a packed Sunday afternoon). Fantastic addition to the downriver eating scene, instant hit their packing them in. Chef's created a fun higher end crafted menu in comparison to most around town. Many local sourced ingredients everything cooked to order. Unique selection of Breakfast n Lunch goodies to choose from. We had a jumbo build your own omelet with fun funky looking scrumptious taters, Beer Battered Onion Ring house made fluffy, Triple Threat on Onion Roll Corned Beef, Pastrami n Beef Brisket outstanding delicious. glass onion griddle was very rated by friends and well known, so I decided to check it around 11 clock today. after viewing various menu items (breakfast and lunch) I decided to order breakfast speciality, fried green tomatoes eggs benedict. waiting for eating was substantial, I didn't take it, but it was maybe 20 minutes? fortunately, I had an interesting conversation partner. eating looked great, so I dug in. a coworker of me and I went to breakfast on Thursday morning. I had the filled French toast and he built his own omelette. we were both very impressed by eating and the service was fantastic. I love the apricose cream they used in the filled French toast, and the cranberry cheese they have is really sharp and really good. perfect for omelettes!

when I worked in all the park, that was something our office would try every Friday morning. this place has amazing bark meat breeze, and her glass bevel sandwich is also fantastic. they are pretty fast, decently expensive and taste great. it's the only really good breakfast place I've ever found in the opposite.
