I was lucky to find a parking spot nearby, as the restaurant was busy with every table occupied. I decided to order a veggie plate to go, which included 5 large falafel, a choice of white or wheat pita, and three salads (I chose tabouli, hummus, and Israeli potato salad) as well as two sauces (tahini and a spicy jalapeño sauce, both dairy-free). 1st of all I just stumbled in there by accident. God must’ve sent me to this restaurant today. WOW. The only words that come to mind are Robust, fresh, delicious and GREAT service. This watermelon lemonade is incredible as well. So light and refreshing. Not a whole bunch of sugar. I’m just really happy and impressed. Their hummus, salad fixings and cabbage slaw??? CRAZY. This restaurant is extremely accommodating for vegans, as almost all of the salads are vegan-friendly with the exception of the red cabbage. The staff is very informative about the ingredients used in their dishes. They also offer vegan soups, and they mentioned that unless specified otherwise, they are vegan despite the possibility of chicken broth being used. very vegan friendly, almost all salads are vegan with taking the red cabbage. the personal is very well informed about the ingredients. they also have vegan suppening, and was said unless it has chicken broth it is vegan. this should be 5 stars, but the app stops on 4.

love the food but they didnt provide extra schug nor a way to buy it as an add on. large group order was missing 1 platter, but was able to get credit and reorder quickly.

My only nitpick is their not being open on Fridays. They are the only kosher restaurant in Newark I know of. That aside, Ive been consistently happy with their food.
