The Greene Turtle Sports Bar Grille Wilmington

I was at other Green Turtle sites, so I was looking forward to their delicious crabs and Old Bay Pommes. There was surprisingly no waiting for a table on a Friday night. I only saw six tables on the restaurant side, but the bar side looked pretty busy. We sat fast and the server arrived immediately to take our drinks orders. The server was very friendly and appealing. But the food was less than I expected from Green Turtle. The crab dive was more fat than I had in the past, but it still tasted good. I came here for lunch with friends. Service was extremely slow even though only 3 tables were occupied. I asked for no guacamole on my sandwich. It came with a container of guacamole as well as guacamole on the sandwich itself. So I ended up with extra guacamole instead of none. Considering how our server never came to see if everything was okay I ended up scraping the guacamole off my sandwich. As far as the food itself, it was good. The fries that came with my sandwich were done perfectly, crisp and not at all greasy. Even though it wasn?t on the menu they were willing to make my friend a blt. Not sure if I will come back. Our server, Julie, was phenomenal! Some of the best services my fiancée and I ever had. She was so polite, funny, charming and personal. I would return to the service, even if the food was also INCREDIBLE! We had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich and the cheese steak. Both dishes were To. Even if the food was terrible, the service was so impeccable that we would return alone.

Our service was great. Fatima was personal and sweet. Don't eat great. I expected it better. The crab dive with sprouts was very salty. It had a bad crab taste on it and was seasoned with Old Bay. Our server took it off when we couldn't eat it. The darkened shrimp tacos could have been warm, but they were not. I think they were Salatschrimps? It wasn't busy at all.

I was here a lot. But today was by far the best experience. I took a group of residents for lunch from the supported community where I work. Our server, Julie was attentive, funny and personal. She treated our group of 15 with ease and showed extreme patience with our memory care residents that you do not often find. As always, the food was delicious.
