Great lunch visit! Came in today in the early afternoon, which was apparently right near the beginning of the Saturday afternoon rush! The phone was ringing off the hook while the staff took orders at the front counter, servicing a lineup that extended out the door. I recently tried the growing company while visiting Thunder Bay and will definitely be making this place a regular stop during my work trips. I ordered the Greek goddess salad, which was delicious. The house-made dressing was fantastic and the addition of couscous was a unique twist on a classic Greek salad. The only downside was that I dislike cilantro and it wasn't listed on the menu that the salad contained it, so I would have preferred to have known beforehand. However, I still give them 5 stars because the atmosphere and staff were excellent and made up for this small oversight.
The food is great, but what’s even better is the people! When a guy who was clearly struggling walked in, they had a friendly chat with him then offered him some food on the house. When I offered to pay for a beverage for him to go with his meal, they told him he could have a beverage along with his meal and it would also be on the house. It’s amazing how the humanly decent the people who work there are. Shoutout to one of the workers there, Andrei! He was a ball of sunshine.
