The Halfway Bistro

I had been looking forward to enjoying a Sunday roast at the Half Way, as it came highly recommended by family. We arrived for our mid-afternoon reservation on a warm day. The Sunday roast was served quickly, but we were let down; there were no roast potatoes! Instead, we received a plate of cabbage and a few root vegetables, which was not what we had anticipated. On the bright side, the beef was tender and the gravy was delicious.

Incredible experience yet again.From our first encounter on arrival to a lovely helpful goodbye (we asked for some local Knowledge for a walk)The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for you and the food speaks for itself!It’s not often you look at a menu and see over 5 things that you would choose to eat! So much choice and the standard is up there with the best.

had a fantastic experience here in september 2022 with the family. great eating, a cozy environment and excellent service from the personal. charlotte and ashley ensured that we had a great evening. would recommend!

Had a lovely lunch today at The Halfway house made all the better by the weather and our waitress Charlotte. Charlotte was very attentive, friendly and clearly a dog lover. Had a lovely afternoon. Thank you!

pity, wanted to visit, but since their website does not give a choice with cookies. I won't. no way to fall down their greedy information. obviously need not enough.
