The Hammond Kitchen Craft

I really wanted to love this place great atmosphere, lovely staff, etc. but the food was disappointing. We started with clam chowder and fries to start the fries where lukewarm at best but had great seasoning. My husband had the seafood pasta, which was marginal, and I had the tenderloin medallions. I asked for them medium rare+ and they came frozen in the middle. Yuck. They made me a new plate but by then my partner had finished all their food. The second plate was better but the vegetables were wilted/unappetizing. Disappointed. Nothing was comped on our meal despite the multiple mistakes.

My party made reservations but still had to wait 35 mins to be seated. After being there roughly 90 mins we were finally served food. The staff was friendly and even covered our appetizers and dessert due to the wait. The food is good but not as great as I had expected for the price. The drinks are amazing though. I love the decor, menu is large. Bar area is fun, belly up or grab a table. Staff is friendly. Restaurant is very clean. Love their salads, pizza, and surprise daily specials. Dine outside on a nice day. Very fun vibe! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
