Whether you 're shopping at Whole Foods or not, The Hangar Bar is a pretty adequate spacious joint to chill at. It may sound awkward to chill in a market but it really isn 't. I must say it 's a convenient spot. To note this bar is not a full on bar either. Many come for a quick grub or drink as they catch whatever sports game they got playing while others come to relax before going back to their daily grind. Underestimated afternoon cooling for obtaining beer and healthy pouring of wine. We usually arrive in the week for the Burger and Beer trade. This time we came and the menu had added options like the crab cake and fish and chips. Every time we come, the server is friendly and gets our food quickly. The seats are always plentiful. Order. Eat. Watch people.

It's too bad the service is so terrible because the bar is great. Bartender Elizabeth hates her job and disappears for a long time without warning. Beer selection and atmosphere are fantastic, hopefully they get some better employees.

Call, they open when they feel it's right for them. Very difficult to plan a lunch and assume that they will stay at their posted hours. Not optimal for business meetings!!

Great ambience. good cocktails. Okay, food. Bit expensive for what you get, but beautiful happy hour location
