The Hart House - Reservar mesa

A last minute decision to spend some time at Deer Lake Park resulted in a lovely lunch on the patio of the Hart House Restaurant. We were welcomed to this vintage home, which has been converted to a delightful restaurant with old world charm. The staff was friendly and accommodating, & the food was tasty & portioned generously. I would definitely recommend this venue for a place to getaway & enjoy the feeling of being in England or Europe, if only for an hour or two.

The Hart House is one of the best restaurants in the city of Burnaby. The restaurant is inside a beautiful heritage mansion with great history. It is also located on a beautiful lakeside with a view of the lake. The food is high end and served with care and professionalism. The restaurant is a little expensive but you do get what you pay for. Proper attire for this classy restaurant is encouraged but not necessary.

I took my wife here for her birthday last year. We had dinner on the patio. With a beautiful wedding taking place on the lawn. The service was superb, despite a full event going on at the same time as well as a birthday inside. The food was like a work of art, yet was more than enough to satisfy us. The dessert they brought out for her birthday was beautiful.

Lovely setting and exceptional service. Tends to be quite noisy, especially on weekends. The menu changes regularly and can be quite eclectic, so check before you go. I have been several times and have been happy with my food choices nearly all of the time. The staff handle my dietary restrictions and can usually put together a decent meal for me. The photos looked great with regard to this historic restaurant, but very deceiving indeed. On arrival we couldn't help notice the poor condition of the landscaping. A lot of dead and dying plants. The portions were very small and service was next to none. Prices were high. No value here. Wasted dinner but good company with friends.

It was a get together after a memorial service, a celebration of life. What a good choice it was. The service, the food, the wine, the ambiance, we're all excellent. The tasting menu for $52 is not just value for money, but also an excellent choice. The wine is very reasonably priced.

My cousins wedding was held at the hart house and the food and service provided were very well done. Staff were polished and helpful, and the chaffing dishes were always full of food, of which all the dishes were very well prepared. We would recommend.
