The restaurant's location, overall appearance, and pricing led me to anticipate a high-quality meal, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. Despite being very hungry, the lack of enthusiasm from the staff and the subpar food tarnished my visit. I ordered a full breakfast, which was heaped onto my plate without any attention to presentation. The fried egg was especially disappointing, with undercooked white. I went to House of Bruar for breakfast shortly after they opened on Sunday. The man serving food was extremely rude, especially to a lady who requested a plain, unbuttered roll with her bacon sandwich. He glared at her, rolled his eyes, threw the buttered roll on the floor, and then went into the kitchen where he could be heard berating her in his native language. This behavior was very disrespectful. Despite the high quality of other items at House of Bruar, the breakfast was mediocre. My long history with this restaurant took a turn for the worse during my recent visit. The server seemed hostile and rushed us to make a quick decision when we arrived, despite us being the only customers in line. The condiments were not labeled, so when we asked for horseradish, the server pointed angrily and scowled. When we inquired about his day, he mentioned it was quiet, which explained his impatience. House of Bruar Restaurant provided an amazing experience, especially with their generous and helpful staff. Despite arriving late due to a bad accident, the team accommodated us well, particularly with picky kids. The chicken ham pie was notably fantastic, and even the turkey pleased the young ones. Highly recommended for a great dining experience.
