The Jade Palace - Reservar uma mesa

I was staying in Sandy Hills and decided to order a meal over the phone at 5:30. I chose Cantonese crispy duck with cashew nuts and a large spring roll to pick up at 7:30. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for my food, even though I had ordered 2 hours in advance. When I got back to my lodge and opened the meal, I realized they had given me the wrong order. The sauce was bland and more like gravy, with chicken and tomatoes instead of cashew nuts. We stayed at a caravan site and decided to indulge in a Chinese takeaway. We ordered king prawn and chicken curry, but were disappointed to find the curry sauce unusually dark and salty. The king prawns were more like shrimps, and the excessive saltiness made the food inedible. The chicken chow mein was also drenched in soy sauce, making it too salty to eat. Even the salt and pepper ribs were overly salty and fatty. Overall, it was a waste of our money and we will not be returning.

Without a doubt the worst Chinese food we have ever had! Other Chinese at top of road had an hour wait and now it makes sense why! Really really poor for the price! Lemon chicken tasted and smelt like toilet cleaner, chips must have been at least 2 days old and the satay dish... well haven’t a clue what that actually tasted like. Very disappointing!

If you want a good chicken curry go to the Chinese down the road from this place. I opened the container and it looked like gravy and full of oil, I had to throw it away after one forkful, it was way too salty! Change your curry sauce! It’s disgusting!

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. I highly recommend it. The dishes are consistently delicious and served quickly. I visit this restaurant every month.
