Proper old fashioned pub that serves great food. With the stone building and thatched roof, it oozes character, and is a 'proper ' pub that hasn 't fallen into the trap of trying to be trendy. The food and drink are excellent, there 's plenty parking, and the welcome was warm and friendly. We 'll definitely be going back!

Went for Sunday lunch. Very friendly landlord. When the meal arrived we were very disappointed. Vegetables were watery and tasteless at £12 each for 1 course was very expensive. 1 pint of beer and half a lager and lime £8.70.We wouldn't recommend going there for Sunday lunch.
