The Kingswood Arms

Shocking, food turned up cold had to send back, roast chicken dinner absolutely disgusting, obviously left over food from lunch time nothing fresh , couldn’t make out what half the stuff was in the plate, cauliflower cheese was beige in colour, chicken was brown inside and whole dinner smothered in gravy, service poor not ask if we wanted any sauces nor checked in everything ok. We not been here for months due to poor food and service but thought would give another try, but nothing has changed, restaurant empty, I wonder why…..noisy with kids running around the restaurant, this pub has all the bling outside but certainly does not deliver !!!!

What a disapointment went for lunch table booked1.15 pm had to wait for 20 mins until someone came and asked us if we needed drink staff seemed disinterested menus was very limited and specials had all run out after walking in you go wow inside looked amazing that’s where it ended very very disappointed I used this venue and worked there when it was kingswood arms and must say you cannot compare the whole food and service experience was dreadful

It was all a little disappointing. I appreciate Christmas is a busy time, staff may be tired and we had booked the last table before they closed on Boxing Day afternoon but I think it could have been better. Food was average, menu wasn’t great and service wasn’t the best. We also didn’t appreciate the restaurant being rearrange for bookings the following day around us….tables and chairs being dragged across the floor. It was a shame really.

Came for Sunday lunch for family birthday meal, beautiful pub amazing food and lovely staff, had the trio of roasts and was honestly the best roast dinner I’ve had out, my grandsons both had meals from the children’s menu and the portion sizes are great, will definitely be returning

I had made a reservation for 12:45, but didn't get my food until 2:30. The service was terrible, with no recognition of the long wait. The menu had changed and the portions were smaller. It's disappointing, as I used to enjoy this pub, but I won't be returning.
