The Last Viceroy - Reservar mesa

We have been going as a family for years, but the standard and quality of this place is now unrecognisable. The curry is so watery no thickness or flavour at all. We had to complain by calling back and they initially refused to do a refund. They suggested I drive back down, which is totally unacceptable. Had to wait 30 minutes in the store for the takeaway. Only when I asked the main manager did they check on it, to come back and provide no update. It’s lost all good customer service. This place used to be a star of Bourne end, but I’ll be sure to avoid.

Visited the restaurant mid-week just before Christmas. Nice location right on the parade and the staff were good. Surprised by how quiet it was though and as a result, it was lacking ambience. The mixed grill 1/4 chicken that we had as starters were tasty but very small/not much meat on the chicken. The chicken pathia and naan were nice but the Viceroy's Special rice was very bland. Overall, it's ok but there are better places locally for a curry if you venture further afield.

So good, had to add a review. I live locally and have eaten in Viceroy many times, the service and atmosphere is always fantastic. However for one reason or another hadn’t eaten there for a while and tonight ordered a takeaway to collect, it was the best Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi I’ve ever eaten, (probably best curry). Please don’t change anything about that dish. It’s perfect

Came as a family for my son’s 24th birthday and thought the food was fantastic. It’s been a while since we have been and it was as good as we remembered. Drinks were a bit slow but I put this down to it being busy and not enough staff. Other than that it was great Reserve uma mesa agora

Awful. I’ve ate from here for ten years. Always been bang on. The jalfrezi tonight was watery and no good. Waited 1hr 15 for pick up and had to get cash as machine broke. Apparently changed hands so avoid ….. I won’t be going back

We had the worst take away from there ever. We've used the last vice for years I think its changed hands not the same chef that's for sure we finished up throwing both meals away.will not be returning sad to say

Yes it’s a little shabby now who can afford renovations at a time like this! but food is excellent, yes you have a wait but the food is cooked fresh to order. Best in the area by far.

Went on a dinner as I was on holidays... Food is amazing,staff is amazing ..i.love Indian food and wine... Can not keep away from it

Food and wine are amazing, car park nearby.. Love this place... I tried different dishes today and was amazed by the food.
