The Lenchford Inn - Reservar uma mesa

We arrived as a family of 3 and a dog (by boat) and politely asked if we could be accommodated for a meal. We don’t expect Restaurant service with our dog so were happy to eat in the lounge. We had to move tables after a short while as a group of adults nearby were drinking and talking loudly with every other word being the F word. They also harassed our dog. I went to the bar to try to order food and was told they would take our order at the table (which they hadn’t done after half an hour). When our food arrived we received a Burger missing its bacon and my wife’s meal had a severely undercooked (watery) fried egg. Went a few days ago for lunch. No hand steriliser, staff generally very complacent and not wearing masks. I complained about a large long black hair on my fried egg. A waiter took the egg away, but after around 8 mins I asked where my replacement egg was. The waiter was surprised ‘oh you want another’ it took about 10 mins for a replacement to be delivered to My plate! Lovely views of the river, but food, service and complacency towards covid was bad.

We had a great time enjoying views of the river and wildlife at this restaurant. The owners were very welcoming, the bar and restaurant were cozy, and the food was delicious. Our overall experience was very pleasant.

Found everything ok weather was good hotel very good in a lovely position bi the Severn very comfortable the food was good and bedroom was brill

Visited the lenchford last night, our four meals along with the service we had was excellent, highly recommend the lenchford for a visit
