every time I walk past this place his busy ones, yesterday it looked quiet, so we parked, sat near the window and ordered lunch. the faggots swimming with a fabulous gravy and were delicious, I had the steak and ale cake (thank you I had breakfast! a hearty eating! my tante had the fish cake, full of fish, but a little on the dry side. I think next time we will all choose the faggots! we drank our coffee outside and watched the narrow boats. also a good place to take her dog.

absolutely loved. we are visiting Australia and wanting to have English landscape homemade pub food and that is exactly what we have. delicious food served by an open fire, the bark meat in ale cake was just an incredible part of the bark meat cooked to perfection and the lasagne was so good if not better than my mothers, the extremely good friendly staff who could not do enough for them, massive 5 out of 5 of 5 of us:

there are numerous places and it is simply better and better. eating is excellent, the selection of beer is excellent and the staff is always friendly. the position directly at the cut is so relaxing. very recommend this beautiful small pub.

great location and courtesy friendly staff, eat some of the best pub food I ever had. would recommend a visit here, it also appears a popular stop-off place for biker and car enthusiasts
