The Lunch Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

Long overdue review as I have visited this place for a few years, but it is my absolute favorite. I work nearby, so it's easy for me to call and pick up in a take-out lunch order for me and/or employees. The food is simple, but is homemade and you can say that they really care about the quality of what they serve. Even on their busiest days, they are efficient and provide friendly service. My favorites are the fruity chicken salad pack and cook salad, and their soups are all great! The prices are also very reasonable if not on the cheap side, which is appreciated with how expensive everything is lately. Thanks TLC:

Stop at The Lunch Cafe according to the reviews. That the owner actually reacts to customers. Have there for an early lunch order half a Michigan Salad and Chili Monday Special] Lady who took my order was very friendly. The food came in a few minutes. Salad was obviously freshly prepared as the salad was actually from a head of salad and not a bag. Chili was hot. Salad was delicious with fresh ingredients and a delicious dressing. Chili was full of taste with the perfect spice level. It was nice that the employees talk to customers about their morning. Will be visited again in the future.

Got 3 veggies options: the veggies panini grill, jalapeño poppers, and caprese. Panini grill was great, not spicy but the side of Sriracha mayo helped. Jalapeno poppers were alright, just a cheesy sandwich with jalapeños. Caprese was really good, house vinegarette was delicious. Lots of cool and funny signs inside and friendly service!

Best lunch at Berkley/Southfield/Royal Oak area. Between the delicious, homemade food and the incredibly friendly and friendly owners and employees we can order at least twice a week in the office. Can't speak very enough of this place.
