The Maids Cottage - Reservar mesa

Before Ieaving Oregon, I was looking at places for breakfast and came across The Maid’s Cottage. My husband is from Newmarket and talked about his grandmother’s butter tarts at the holidays. I had never eaten a butter tart before. OMG I am hooked, they were delicious!! Kath helped us at the counter (we LOVED her! and made suggestions of what to try. I opted for a variety and got raisin, currant, pecan, pumpkin and Nanaimo (which got arm wrestled for.. . They were ALL delicious. My favorite was the pecan and pumpkin. I also got a loaf of wheat bread that was so fresh and made the best sandwiches. I highly recommend checking them out, truly deserving of awards! Great tarts and friendly staff....

The sisters who run this restaurant are truly wonderful. I stopped by once for breakfast and had a delicious homemade quiche along with some of the best French toast I've ever had, not realizing I was at the home of Ontario's finest butter tarts. I picked up a few on my way out for my family, who adore them, and now I've had to come back multiple times for more. The customer service is consistently excellent, and there's always a great variety of tarts available. If you're in the area, you definitely don't want to miss out on this gem!

I first discovered Maids Cottage while visiting Midland, Ontario, famous for its renowned butter tart festival. Maids Cottage had won first place for their butter tarts, and when I finally visited the shop, I was not disappointed. They were the best butter tarts I’ve had in years! Additionally, there were so many options to choose from that I can’t wait to go back.

I first heard about Maids Cottage when I visited Midland Ontario, the home of a renown butter tart festival. Maids cottage had been awarded a first place win for their butter tarts. We ordered over 150 butter tarts from this place as our wedding favors, and they were a tremendous success! The staff did an excellent job managing our order and ensuring everything was prepared on time. Without a doubt, these are the best butter tarts I've ever tasted.

I use to love to go to the maids cottage for breakfast or for lunch when I worked many years ago over on main Street my mom and I on occasion would go in and have lunch or on weekends I would go with both parents to dine in so sad to hear it's not open for dinning In ?

My Grandson and I went to The Maids cottage for lunch. I found it very expensive for the food that we received. $19.00 for a Tuna melt with a small side salad. Very disappointing!

Web for the buttertarts. Not that impressed 4 dollars for one a tart is a bit expensive filling was nice too much crust for my Reserve uma mesa agora
