The Montagu Arms - Reservar uma mesa

It was my wife’s birthday and we wanted to try somewhere new and the Monty was recommended. We were not disappointed. It was a Tuesday lunch and there were quite a few people dining in the bar creating a nice atmosphere and we managed to get a table right next to a lovely log fire. The menu is varied supplemented by a specials board. My wife chose shoulder of pork and I had the lamb. Both were served quickly, hot and a generous portion and were excellent. Puddings followed of course. Prices on par. To cut it short, lovely food, service and surroundings, will definitely visit again.

We had two excellent sirloin steaks today and were very impressed. Decided to call in here for lunch and so pleased we did. The food was superb and they have a good range of beers and wines. There was a vibrant and friendly vibe and it was busy when we arrived. This is a pub but service was actually better than we had experienced at a hotel in Uppingham on the previous Sunday! We could see how hard the staff were working and they were all brilliant. We have been before but always as larger walking groups but we shall return again very soon very impressed!

We had an great Sunday lunch at the Monty yesterday. The food was excellent and served hot we had roast lamb, roast beef and the nut roast all delicious. There was a real buzz as the pub was full I'd recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment. The pub has loads of parking space and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We had three dogs with us which was no problem in the cellar bar. What a great place to meet grandparents on their way past Oundle to a holiday destination. Thank you to the team for a great experience!

The food and service at this restaurant are of excellent quality. The staff is friendly, polite, and attentive. They make sure that the food is served hot when necessary and are always ready to assist and provide great service.

Lovely friendly staff. Fast service great food. We sat outside in the garden which has a Happy pleasant atmosphere with an area specially for children.
