The Nagshead - Reservar uma mesa

Visited with my mother and grandparents earlier in the week. We ordered 2 x scampi and chips, 1 x fish and chips and 1 x steak and ale pie. Portions are small, mushy peas were stone cold, and peas with the pie were rock hard. The place was practically empty so not as if they were rushed off their feet! Mash with the pie had cold spots and the pie had obviously been microwaved. Not one member of staff asked how the food was or checked on us, really poor service and the food was a massive let down for the price. Would not return again and deffo would not recommend to anyone! We arrived around 8pm on a Monday night and it seemed like the restaurant was about to close. However, the staff must have noticed our disappointment and invited us to sit down. Thanks to their hospitality, we ended up having a wonderful meal. A big thank you to the staff and chef!

The pub is charming and the Sunday lunch carvery is fantastic! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I'm already looking forward to returning next week.

We went for Sunday Carvery last week and it was a great experience, the food was amazing and the staff were all very friendly.
