The National - Reservar uma mesa

No pretentious kickshaws here just excellent honest actikabel food in a charming sociable environment with a late night cosiness. Very fresh, well balanced dishes. It is not a great operation some ingredients recur appreciably during the menu, but everything was so well valued and executed it doesn't matter. Wouldn't miss it on my next visit to Athens.

GAZPACHO! Great food, acceptable service. We were interrupted about 4 times when we didn't have to be (I worked for a Michelin cook so I'm upset about these things). The food is a fairly high price, but the dishes are worth it. We have a lot of appetizers and that was a good way to try different things.

Best meal I had in Athens. I had the chicken salad at noon. The food was so tasteful and fresh, and the service was friendly and inconspicuous. The acoustics could use some work, it became loud as the place filled. I will definitely return to try the dinner menu.

We had the most amazing experience here during Athens Restaurant Week. Erica made our meal extra special, offering the best recommendations for cocktails and wine. Can?t wait to come again! Erin sat us and checked in on us too, she is so cool and smart!

Always a great experience and delicious food. I wasn't in a few years, but I want to come back regularly.
