Not an experience I expected.. We have tried booking here for months and eventually got a table. Excited to eat here for the first time the bubble burst pretty quickly… Walked into the bar to be ignored for around minutes while the staff did...everything but see to us, already feeling like a burden.. not a great start! Finally given directions, not shown to our tables?! The pub seemed busy so carried on to give it the benefit of the doubt. Orders were taken quickly for food and the food was great, cannot fault. My wife found the Natterjack through Tripadvisor when we were looking for a good restaurant near Glastonbury. It is a bit of a drive, but worth the effort. From the moment you step inside its a lovely experience. Tables glow in candlelight, staff young and...friendly, bright colours, a warm feeling. Local produce is to the fore, servings are plentiful. Our seven starters arrived after only a short wait, all together, all piping hot, all well presented. The calamari was a particular hit but they were all excellent. For mains the hake and the enormous and meltingly rich BBQ rib rack were the stars. If only we had enough room left for dessert!

After stopping here for lunch in the past decided to book for an evening meal. We wee not disappointed the food and service was excellent. We both had the ribs which were excellent. To make our evening better we booked a room faith breakfast which...again was excellent. Would recommend to anyone a great evening for couples, family’s or groups of friends. The accommodations are excellent very clean and spacious and really added to our night not having to drive home Dave Sarah Bristol

We allegedly had a superior room. No one was around when we arrived but the key was in the door. We tried to switch the lights on, but realized the were already on the only place with adequate lighting was the bathroom. Dinner in...the inn was OK, breakfast was poor.Orange juice had been watered down, and the hollandaise sauce was thin and vinegary, service was minimal. Gorgeous, traditional country pub. We were welcomed by a lovely gentleman behind the bar who showed us to a table and got us a round of drinks. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and so fresh. Service was brilliant and everyone was really friendly. The...pub is dog friendly and has lots of parking. Would recommend and we have already talked about returning to try their Sunday roast and hopefully have room for pudding!

A really lovely place for either a family evening meal or lunch with a friend. There is always plenty of choice on the menu for everyone, vegetarian options, specials normal pub food. The desserts are amazing. A full bar is available, service is excellent...and the staff are very friendly. I would recommend anyone to go there for any occasion, but would advise on booking a table

What a fantastic visit today to a wonderful eatery. Food was amazing with ample portions for all and a beer selection to satisfy even my fussy father. Beef and Pork Sunday mix roast was to die for and the deserts were delicious. A trip down...from London to visit the parents finished off by an excellent time at The Natterjack. Thank you.
