The Newbury Pub The Terrace

I and my new man were crashed by The Angel Pub 3 weeks before our wedding and The Newbury and went over and beyond to make our special day perfect. The new owners are so beautiful and went with everything we wanted. The food was excellent, top class and the staff in the evening went out to make sure that all our guests and we were happy. I would definitely recommend the outdoor roof terrace for wedding receptions as it is such a beautiful room. We would like to thank everyone at The Newbury for making our day special. You saved the day. We will come back safely in the future.

I’ve been looking forward to visiting this lovely place since it re opened and it didn’t disappoint. Wonderful, helpful and efficient staff made the whole experience such a pleasure . I had the Char grilled Rib Eye with chips, red wine jus and long stemmed broccoli Wow! It was amazing I cannot recommend it enough. The deck area upstairs had a lovely laid back ambience and was lovely to relax in on what was a beautiful sunny day. Can’t wait to come back well done to you all and best wishes for a fabulous future

We are so impressed by the Christmas plate for £2.20 each and I am now full to with cattle pig, chicken, pigs in blankets cracked potatoes roast honey parsnips cauliflower cheese and a huge side vegetables! fabulous! Feast and delicious! Very recommended.

Eat on Christmas night. The first time we have eaten here since new owners (you are regular for drinks). The food was very good. Good menu choices. Good portions. Also very good and good price children's menu.

Had a really wonderful Sunday lunch was exceptional, as the hospitality was very well maintained. The house wine was very drinkable a really great meal would definitely go back.
