The Nutmeg Grille - Reservar mesa

Comfortable little place for breakfast. Diner style; layed back, quick service, standard menu options, and real food at (very) decent prices. The wait staff were struggling a little (tables requesting things like ketchup, jam, cream, and more coffee), but I think one of the two servers were training. Small space and busy during peak times. We enjoyed a late weekend breakfast, by the time we left a line was forming at the door. Parking is limited, there is a lot beside the restaurant but it belongs to the restaurant on the other side of the lot and there are many signs stating such.

I had steak and eggs at home, accompanied by fries and rye toast. Everything was cooked to perfection. The prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious. Mr. Kellner provided excellent customer service. I had to leave my wife at the restaurant for a bit because a delivery service showed up early at my house with a new device. When I returned 15 to 20 minutes later, Rick's Nutmeg Grille had chosen to prepare fresh eggs for us. This demonstrates that they genuinely care about their customers. I'm back here again!

The breakfast classics were fantastic! The waffles were incredibly light and fluffy, with a perfectly crispy exterior. The eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sausage were all wonderful, tasting almost fresh or at least locally sourced. The only reason I didn’t give a full 5-star rating is because of the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. I'm not sure what compelled me to try this unconventional menu item, but I think it’s best to stick with the diner classics at Rick's!

Decent number of menu options at good prices. My friend enjoyed Eggs Benedict while I got a generously sized grilled chicken grinder with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Chicken was juicy and nicely seasoned. I opted for no mayo, and asked for a little olive oil instead. It was delicious. It's a small place with only one server so things took a little extra time, but that's okay. Definitely a place I would try again. Reserve uma mesa agora

Very nice little hole in the wall, local breakfast/lunch place. I was here a few times with my wife and breakfast was always very good. Portions are large and very well prepared, service is fast and friendly. It can be very busy and there can be a waiting time at certain times, but very much value a small waiting if necessary

I visited the restaurant on Sunday and was delighted by the wonderful people and atmosphere. My grandparents ran a restaurant in that location for 35 years, called Jerry's Pizza. The new owners were very kind, and I know my grandparents would have loved this place. It brought back many happy memories.

One word sums up why this is the best restaurant: SYLVIA. I chatted with a guy named Steve, but I couldn't take my eyes off SYLVIA. She’s really nice and has a captivating presence, almost like a melody. Steve had some great ideas, and while the food was decent, it was SYLVIA that stole the show!

Delicious breakfast food. We had their breakfast sandwiches, blueberry pancakes, and kielbasa and it was all great. Also very friendly employees.

One of my favorite places for breakfast in Torrington. The Eggs Benedict and French toast are absolutely amazing!
