Having walked past the fairly new food and drink establishment many, many times, we finally decided to sample the fare and are sorry it took us so long. The last time we were inside this building, it was a hardware store; the owners and us...moving into the area about the same time. Upon entering the other night, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The decor is rustic and there’s evidence that this once was a hardware store. About 20 of us had the occasion to go for a memorial brunch to celebrate the first anniversary of a dear friends passing so when emotions run high mistakes and let downs seem amplified and can ruin the day . There was never a fear of...that. Chef and owner Ann is like coming home to a world class chef who is also your favourite Auntie. She is warm and loving the the whole restaurant emanates this positive vibe. Was visiting someone down the street and went for takeout. Their menu is somewhat limited given the size of the restaurant. Ordered the Shrimp pasta was very good but sauce very rich. Got for her the veggie Sheppard's pie. My queen enjoyed it. A...few items not available for takeout. Would go back.

what an amazing community motto. chef anne is talented beyond a variety. all their dishes are amazing! always great customer service and the OH pistry always have good to die. recommend this restaurant for their take-out requirements. dip in when the dings become normal again!
