The Old Boy Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

Visted in a Sunday and ordered 2 coffees and 2 jaffles. They did say there would be a 15 - 20 minute wait on the jaffles as they were busy, which is fair enough. However, 50 minutes later we still hadn't received our order which was unacceptable.They seemed to be fairly inexperienced. Making one jaffle watching it cook, then assembling the next. Instead of laying out the next 3, say, ready to go so it would be quicker. Needless to say won't be returning.

It is a small cafe which is set up for a quick coffee and bite. If you are looking for a long leisurely lunch I would look elsewhere. The coffee is nicely balanced and the tea drinkers were very impressed with the quality of the offering. No tea bags here. We would go back when the occasion warranted it.

I have never had a coffee with no saucers just the cup really bizarre asked them if they forgot they told me they don't doWay to trendy or maybe lazy as less washing has to be doneAnyway won't be going back heaps of better places in Applecross

Great coffee every time, plus yummy old school jaffles with a great range of fillings. No hurry here but if you are a yuppy in a hurry then go to Maccas & drink their rubbish....No saucers...really!

Only serves jaffles which are quite nice but the service is incredibly slow especially for quite simple food.
