The Olympic Hotel - Reservar uma mesa

We wanted a quick lunch before the footy at SFS across the road. I phoned the night before to book a table..."no problem" I was told!! Arrived 1pm - the tables in the bistro still had last nights food scraps on them. I cleaned and cleared the tables and set up our booking. There was a revolting stench in the room. Requested air con to be turned on - didn't happen. We moved after 20 mins because of the smell then saw note on toilet door to say it was "out of order" - now know what the smell was!! Asked 1 of 3 security guards if we could move a table to the main area - "My manager said No"!! Only one person working in the bar to serve drinks, take food orders. Crowd was three deep at the bar.....

Went with my partner and four friends to the Olympic hotel for the $15.00 Sunday roast which included a glass of red or white wine. The roast was lamb with fresh vegetables and potatoes, the food quality and size of serving was more than acceptable, great value for $15.00 plus a glass of wine.The décor was very ordinary from my point of view and I did not like the TAB situated right in the main bar. We were the only ones eating when we arrived so the service was not bad, drink prices were very reasonable. I can imagine it would be very busy when a game is on at the football stadium across the road.

Yawn! only a good place to have a beer before an event. Meals are greasy and I found the service slow and I was one of 2 people eating

This was a nice little place near Allianz and SCG. Had an awesome schnitzel sandwich!!! I recommend!!! you try it!!! you you try it

Enjoyed our pints of well kept Fat Yak in the footy throng before watching Sydney FC lose to Melbourne Victory
