After our meal, we browsed in the gift shop and admired the desserts. While we were checking out and spending $180, my boyfriend was unexpectedly confronted by the owner in a rude manner. Her approach was very confrontational, to the point where everyone in the store stopped to look. He was just admiring the desserts while we were in line. It felt as if she thought he was loitering in the shop. We were caught off guard, and he felt completely embarrassed. Eventually, she seemed to realize her mistake and said she just wanted to know if he wanted to buy something. Even her employees appeared surprised by her rudeness towards a customer. I visited for lunch and found the restaurant to be small but staffed with good service, although the wait was on the longer side. We ordered a Tuna Melt, a Patty Melt, and a Tuna Sandwich. The fries were excellent, but the onion rings were disappointing. Unfortunately, my wife couldn't finish her Patty Melt as it was unappetizing. The Tuna Sandwich had all the tuna piled in the center, making it difficult to eat, although it had a decent flavor. I had to rearrange the tuna, which created a bit of a mess. Overall, it's a quaint and unique restaurant, but it seems like the food quality can be inconsistent.
Husband and I stopped here to get some burgers for lunch and had a lovely experience. The burgers were delicious- Juicy and cooked to perfection! We also ordered the fried zucchini for an appetizer- yum!! Friendly and fast service across the board from multiple staff members during our visit. On our way out we stopped by the bakery counter for a lemon butter cookie to share. It was one of the most scrumptious cookies we've ever had. The surrounding property behind the restaurant has big beautiful trees and a really nice water fountain. We look forward to coming back, again!
We drove 38 miles when gas is 517 a gallon. We were trying to get breakfast but got there after breakfast was finished being served. We ended up getting lunch and it was fabulous! The stuffed mushrooms are to die for. My husband had finger steaks which were really good. I highly recommend the french fries some of the best I've ever had and I'm not really a french fry pan. I had the fish tacos and the fish was crispy and light extremely good! I recommend you take the trip it's worth it. Reserve uma mesa agora
One of my family's all-time favorite restaurants! We adore this place. The food is excellent, and their pies are fantastic. It's a charming little shop with a fun atmosphere. The service is usually good; being a small venue, it can occasionally be slow, but overall, they provide great service. If you visit in the spring or summer, be sure to dine in the garden—it's absolutely beautiful!
I love the orchard house! It's such a fun place. I love the way it's decorated, and the food is amazing! I've never ordered something I didn't like. You have to get dessert too. The pear pie is my favorite. They have really good homemade cookies and as many different types of fudge as you could think of.
