The Patio At Mountain View

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend on a beautiful Friday summer night to see the Kindred Spirit band. We reserved a table for dinner on the patio as there is no outdoor bar or anyplace else to sit unless you reserve a table. . Initially, the table they gave us was on the side, in the sun and you couldn’t even see the band. Well, we waited for a short while and we were able to get a wonderful table in a perfect location and the evening was absolutely beautiful. We ordered the cheese and charcuterie plate for an appetizer and then shared a sandwich. The food was good, although I wouldn’t say it was spectacular. The new patio was nice. It faces the greens entrance and a two piece band was set up there. The tables are a bit weathered. But overall the ambiance is what it should be for a golf course restaurant. Food was good to ok. The chicken Milanese was a bit too dry. My mahi mahi tacos were quite good. Cocktails were good. Server was pleasant.

No service that day in spite of reservation option on Open Table. I don 't count ordering at the cart drive-up window as service. Took a while and a lot of walking to track down someone at the bar to explain. Signage poor. Nope.

What made it so special, Billy Hill and Meg were there, live music! It brought back so many beautiful memories, what a great night! I wish more restaurants had this conversation!

Had a really nice birthday dinner and the food was quite good! Was a bit to hot outside but a small breeze helped! Would recommend for a casual evening out!
