The Pearson Room - Reservar mesa

I had read a few months ago that a new restaurant had opened in Canary Wharf, The Pearson Room, and the article that referred to it spoke of burgers, fried chicken, all sorts of casual and cool types of food that you could eat there. In reality I found the Pearson Room very different when I visited it with my friend Anda for a lunch. The Pearsoon Room is located in the Reebok sports centre in Canada Square, Canary Wharf, just above Waitrose, and the interior reminds me a lot of the Riding House Café, a brunch/ breakfast/ lunch restaurant just north of Oxford Circus. Roaming around the financial district of Canary Wharf has never been my playground. So when i made my way deep in to the heart of it all i realised there's actually something quite exciting about it all. Not only the multitude of fine dining restaurants for wooing clients over, but also the tranquil industrial side of Thames mixed with what feels like stumbling around the blocks of New York. directly at the hotel kanada square, the pearson room is located in a convenient central location in canary wharf and a simple walk from the nearby shops and railway stations. This typically allows a continuous procession of suits and ties to be expected during a midday visit. the venue has a beautiful, if something simple layout and the menu is varied and includes a series of pastas, burger, salats and steak. the service was efficient and fast, but not particularly personal, although this may be for a faster work. the food came out quite quickly and was again usually pleasant, if not particularly durable in memory. Every time I think about The Pearson Room or go there, I’m reminded of Suits. You the Pearson, Harvey and…(I won’t spoil it for you) law firm that we all love! And yes, this place really is full of suits. But hey, don’t let that put you off because amidst all the smell of cologne and the Reebok gym next door, this place isn’t bad. Walking through Waitrose you can hear the loud talking, laughing, chatting, yelling and so on. I had only ever been to Canary Wharf once before, about six years ago to see my step-cousin run the London Marathon, but when I was asked to review a restaurant headed up by the people behind Gymkhana, Bubbledogs, and Trishna, I knew I couldn't turn it down. The Pearson Room opened in 2013, and offers contemporary dining in the heart of Canary Wharf overlooking Canada Square. Housed in the Reebok Club, the view at sunset was pretty magical, and the cocktails from the Bombay Sapphire menu were delicious!

Price of the food is considered fairly expensive, went there for the breakfast, had smoothie and muesli. The portion is large but I guess they charge a relative higher prices compare to other breakfast places in London. Average spend is about £15 per head for breakfast. Not many people there for breakfast. The environment is nice with plants around you, like sitting in the garden. But that's the only thing I enjoy. Food is pretty ordinary and nothing too surprising in terms of taste or presentation.

If there is one thing that Canary Wharf has abundant, then that is glass and the beautiful views that come from those towers made of it. Being more or less an attachment to Reebok Gym (of which I am now a proud member of), it was inevitable that I would end up trying it out. Location: The Pearson Room, Canary Wharf, London

the pearson. fish cake and the Cobb salad are really great from here to have too good and so delicious really loved her in the did! that really loved it!
