The Pelican - Reservar uma mesa

One night my mates and I decided to take diversion from our usual Queens Head, and head up the canal to The Pelican for some snacks and drinks. Now, I’ll keep this short. Food is 9/10 sometimes chips are a bit too salty, other than...that everything I saw come out looked delicious and fresh. Drinks: well they’re drinks aren’t they, nothing spectacular but they weren’t flat, were cold and refreshing in the sun. Just not a lot of variety. Now you’re probably wondering what the 2 star is for? Well it’s customer service and the absolutely despicable attitude of the owner/manager. SWEARING and screaming at customers for either not wearing a mask, or complaining about their chilli being too spicy?...

Went tonight to see a band , had a JD and coke started off charging me under a £5 within an hour the charge for the same drink had gone up to over £7. Absolute rip off Im fed up with this inconsistencies The bar...staff denied the change in price Im not stupid wont be taken as a fool Stop doing this to your loyal customers

Popped in today for a light lunch whilst out walking the dog. All four of us had panini (2 pulled pork 2 tuna cheese melt) which were absolutely delicious …..Oh and the sweet Potato fries were cooked to perfection

we had a wonderful lunch, service was great. the atmosphere was good for a lunchtime. our lunch was fantastic, didn't leave a bite. will come back soon, would definitely recommend eating. good price

Brilliant pub, lovely food- staff are friendly and inviting New menu and daily specials are amazing.
