The Promenade Cafe

This cafe is like a disguised greasy spoon. The food was mediocre, the coffee was good and the service was trying but not hard enough. I ordered a veggie breakfast and the toast was brought out a good 7 or 8 minutes before the actual breakfast so it was cold by the time I received the main part. That's where the theme began because the beans and mushrooms were cold too which is really unpleasant. The veggie sausage, hashbrown and tinned tomatoes also didn't require any preparation by the cafe (premade) which is totally acceptable but means I can't really comment on their quality. I was served a massive full English breakfast at this restaurant by a very friendly and welcoming lady. The food was cooked fresh and brought to my table quickly. I was amazed at the size of the breakfast and despite its delicious taste, I couldn't eat it all. I will definitely return and recommend this place to others.

Best cafe in Blackpool. Friendly staff, who take a genuine intrest in their customers. Quality ingredients and THE best coffee in Blackpool. Free parking outside, 1 min from the Beach, 2 mins from the tramway. Fully accessible and LGBTQ+ friendly. Vegetarian menu on request and take away service available.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, serving home-cooked food that is fresh, flavorful, and of excellent quality. I highly recommend giving it a try as you will not be disappointed. The Pea and Ham soup is absolutely delicious.
