The Quiet Clam 2.0

The food was quite good and the price low for the Hamptons. The service was perfunctory and slow, however. Worse, the noise level on a Sunday night made conversation impossible and the dinner intolerable. Most annoying, some inconsiderate parents placed their under six 10 and under's at their own table with no supervision to scream as they wished. I suggest you go after kids bedtime and/or with someone you are not interested in listening to. D

Quiet Clam now has a new cook and a new menu. Menu is more pub than before, and he is definitely talented. We had a special area of St. Louis ribs that were excellent, possibly the best ribs we had in some time. The appetizers of salad and steamers were very good, like their burgers. Nice to have a cheap alternative to all expensive restaurants in the area.

Seafood!!!! This great small incarnation of the original was a great little discovery to sipe wine and soup on a cold autumn day. The linguine Vonghoke was filled with mussels and every steamer I had opened came into an amazing broth! Raul our bartender was very friendly and attentive. I would totally recommend this unpretentious jewel in The Hamptons!
