The Rake Mediterranean Tapas

The service was highly disappointing asked one of the staff members questions about the menu which they wasn’t sure of the answer to any of the questions. I had came with my mum and partner as my mum wanted to try the scallops. She ordered something off the socials board my partner ordered the chicken kebab and I ordered some tapas dishes. We waited over an hour before one dish came (my tapas dish or one of) then another tapas dish followed five minutes after and so on. I had then one dish left to arrive when both my mum and my parents food arrived. Second time I have stayed here and I’m pleased to say the exceptional standards have been maintained. We were st a friends birthday party so unfortunately couldn’t have dinner in the restaurant but we did have an amazing breakfast the following morning. Everything was superb. We will definitely be back for dinner soon!

Great food and place for a special occasion or just a casual night out. The food is delicious and accommodation is spacious and a historic building with a great nights sleep everytime we visit!

Quirky pub with excellent accomodation and Tapas served in the evening. Great menu choice and all home cooked and served to order.
