The Red Carpet Cinema And Cafe

The venue is lovely, the staff we met were pleasant enough. The film was enjoyable. Going to a lunch time showing, we wanted a light lunch. Sadly, the only food available for a vegan was dhal! Not everyone wants curry at midday. It seemed ridiculous to me that neither the vegan breakfast nor the vegan breakfast sandwich could be ordered! Chef says they 're not on the lunch menu we were told after enquiring. This was 20 minutes after the breakfast menu had finished! Wouldn 't have been a huge effort surely?! Additionally, none of the sandwiches that were listed on the lunch menu was vegan though there are vegetarian offerings. Given the huge numbers of people gravitating towards a plant based...

As much as I enjoy visiting this cinema venue frequently, I must say that the cafe experience was disappointing. Despite the cafe being half empty, the service was poor and slow. The burger I ordered was overcooked and served on a wooden platter, which I find unhygienic. My steak was also served cold, but was replaced with a tasty and tender one, although it arrived after the burger had been eaten and on a cold plate. We had ordered desserts but were informed that the main feature was about to start, so we rushed into the cinema, leaving one dessert behind as it was not enjoyable. Despite the minor mishaps in the cafe, the cinema experience was great with comfortable seats and ample legroom....

I recently went to the Red Carpet Cinema with a friend and it was absolutely amazing! The setting was beautiful and the place had a fabulous 1930's feel. The staff was excellent and the experience was much more enjoyable than the large chain cinemas. The seats were very comfortable. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be booking again soon.

This situation seems quite unfortunate and is just another example of the overly sensitive world we live in, where animals are given priority over the cleanliness and well-being of human patrons. Dogs should not be allowed in an establishment where food is served.

Good food, welcoming, always have a good visit. Great with children and lots of food choices. You can take food and drink bought there into the theatre
