The Red Lion - Reservar uma mesa

I know this is a resident owned pub and it was busy with a full garden, but an hour and 15min waiting for a sandwich to arrive is not right. There needs to be some sort of plan in place for when it gets busy. Nice looking pub and staff smiley and friendly.

definitiw in my top 10 pubs in the world. great beer, relaxed local, good eating, in a bit of a time capsule, but on a good wise. I was back often. always a good pint. had a lively burger this time too.

The pub garden is beautiful and has absolutely beautiful scenery, but the food takes very long. About 45 minutes to an hour for a sandwich! It’s quite nice but if you’re impatient I don’t recommend it.

We love the food here, all homemade, and really excellent quality. My favourite is chilli crab spaghetti, well worth trying. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Well worth a visit
