To Norman and Lorraine and all the staff...may I send my gift of appreciation to you all for taking good care of myself and William over the last months whilst we have been working away from home...your friendliness and warmth have not gone amiss...we send you our gratitude for all you have done for us..The Rising Sun is a little gem of a place tucked away in the heart of Bath...the rooms are lovely and are cleaned every day...the food is to die for and the quaint rear courtyard adds a little quirkiness to your visit...lined with flowers ferns and hanging baskets...we have thouroghly enjoyed our long long staycation and wish you all happiness success and prosperity...until we meet again God...

The restaurant offers friendly service and good food, especially during Sunday lunch. It is great value for Bath and has delicious gravy. The atmosphere is relaxing, and we didn't feel rushed unlike other busier places in the city.
