here for a pint with a friend, but the smell of outdoor pizza oven convinced us to stay for food. the pizza was delicious, one of the best I had! was not in the old one, so was pleasantly surprised to see how much it had changed. beautiful garden from the back, many sunspots and shaded areas. all the workers were super nice and quickly came through the waits. will be 100% back, thank you!

this pub was my local in 1971/73 when I was a student. it was 46 years and a week since I was here. in this time it has changed a lot, so better from what I saw. only disappointment was the dart board, but a few more real ale.
