The Roots Tavern - Reservar uma mesa

I had intended to visit The Roots Restaurant for some time, and I'm glad I finally visited. It may just be me, but it's location doesn't put it at the front and center as folks drive through downtown Melbourne. All restaurants on Melbourne Court seem to fall into that category, and there have been some decent options in that area over the years. I've had a few breakfast dishes at Roots with the majority being the breakfast burrito. I've also had the typical two egg, bacon,potatoes and toast plate. Service has been great, and the staff is helpful in offering other options that you not be considering. They've suggested their chicken biscuits, so that may be my next option. Ordered takeout from here this morning and I couldn’t wait to write a review. Everything was excellent. We ordered the chicken waffles, the biscuits gravy, and the eggs Benedict. All of them were fantastic. The only thing I would do differently is order the bacon on the side of the chicken and waffles. For me personally that bacon was so good but so distinct in flavor that it was a bit to strong as part of the dish. That’s just me though. Others may love it. Can’t wait to come back again!

Went to breakfast with my family. Dining area is small but enough tables. The food was good I like the options they had. The food wasn?t amazing but it was cooked well and had good taste. Had the mimosas, which come in several flavors. They are amazing! So yummy! And our server, Gabby was so good at taking our orders. She was quick and concise and a very sweet girl! I hope they keep her, she?s very good at her job. I was overall satisfied, which is why I?m giving it 5 stars.

Our breakfasts were ok. Knorrs Bernaise for your eggs Benedict is not what you expect from Farm to table atmosphere....it is not hard to make. Up the price $1 for the real deal. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

1st time here wont be the last!!! Gabby was amazing! The food was amazing those mimosas WOW do yourself a favor treat yourself to this awesome restaurant! You def won?t be disappointed!!! I hope you benefit from Gabby?s outstanding service!
