The Ropemakers - Reservar uma mesa

We have always enjoyed dining at The Ropey, so we decided to try their Sunday roast dinner and were not let down. I chose the beef and my partner opted for the pork. Both meat dishes were cooked perfectly, accompanied by delicious Bratspeitschen, Petersnips, and a variety of vegetables. The horse and apple sauces added a nice touch to the meal. The dessert was delightful, and the Yorkshire Puddings were as good as my mother's (which is a huge compliment!). The staff were fantastic, and it's important to support community pubs like this. If I could, I would give this place six stars.

The restaurant always has a fantastic atmosphere, whether you're there to enjoy live music, participate in a quiz, or have a delicious Sunday lunch like we did today. The owner is lovely, extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and we especially enjoyed the dessert. Everything was fresh, hot, and the portion sizes were just right. They also have a wide variety of drinks including beer, wine, and soft drinks. The restaurant is very dog-friendly, our Jack Russell happily sat under the table while we dined. I would highly recommend this place without any hesitation!

Found this pub on the night before we go back home after a week's stay nearby. Damn I wish I'd found it earlier. Its very much a live music pub with regular music Friday, Saturday and Sunday plus open mics on the occasional Wednesday. Good pub food cooked fresh to order, great selection of beers and even on a Monday evening, a real pleasant atmosphere. Pleasant, friendly staff too. Will certainly look in if we are ever down this way again.

Perhaps located in Bridport, this restaurant offers delicious food made with local Palmers products. The atmosphere is enhanced with live music and various activities, making the experience truly special. The decor is pleasing, prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting frequently.

Visit a Tuesday night that is a quiz night. Great food, service and atmosphere. They deserve every accent they have on the display. The next morning everything was brilliant again. A gem in the heart when Bridport.
