We had one of he best Roast dinners we have ever had in the Lake District and anywhere yesterday,Compliments to the Chef,excellent can't wait to come back,and expertly served to us by the Lovely Amy,Drinks perfect from the very professional barmen,Thank you all,xxx

beautiful base for a few nights, beer and service excellent, great eating in a marketplace with a fantastic atmosphere. local brewery worth a visit and served in the village pubs. we came out with a few cases. will surely be visited again.

It's a great place to eat and they have a fantastic beer garden, the staff are very friendly we have now made the Royal Oak our local
