We ordered our tea and went to the pub across the street while they prepared it. They notified us when our order was ready. We were both extremely pleased with our meals, as it was the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. We are looking forward to returning again. These are the best chips we have ever eaten! I grew up in London allegedly with an award winning chippie but the chips here are hands down the tastiest I've ever had. I never leave reviews and often dislike chips. But these! The woeld needs to know The Tina Turner of chips simply the best! So delicious! Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5

Not as good as usual got a regular fish and chips but they give me a tiny one, smaller than the usual cod special I get although I paid more. The fish looked like it was for a child and the whole thing was soggy. Bit disappointing. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We just ordered takeout from this restaurant and the food was all delicious. We enjoyed the freshly cooked cod and plaice with equally delicious chips. The service was also very friendly.
