We were delighted to be able to return to our favourite restaurant in regional NSW after five months of lockdown. The food, the ambience, the service were all exquisite, as usual, simply a balm to our deprived souls. Floor service as you’d find in Tokyo, (and there’s a good reason for that), Food courses, each one a delicious adventure down exotic but satisfying paths, Flavours in a masterful mosaic of engaging tastes, with enticing wines to match. Sandbar seemingly reaches new heights every...visit. We had to pinch ourselves that we were in Batemans.

Each course was beautifully presented and displayed a creative use of local ingredients. Sashimi kingfish was delicious as was chicken in bresciola served with lobster bisque. Delicious desserts with a balance of confection, fruit and chocolate. A memorable gastronomic experience.

Warm, comfortable friendly atmosphere with a charming Waitress. Food was delicious with refined flavours beautifully plated. Thank you for a special dining experience celebrating the birthday of a family member.
