The Sandbar Waterfront Grill

I visited the Sandbar the other day for the first time to have a drink on their patio. A few things were upsetting to me. I understand there is a pandemic, however I didn’t need to be inundated with this info when I sat down...at a table. I went out to forget what’s going on and was continually reminded of the pandemic from the hostesses to our waitress. I was told they didn’t have menus and I had to use my cellphone and QVC code to look at their menu. I ordered a drink and couldn’t stay bc I was getting eaten alive by mosquitos. Perhaps they can put up some form of meshing to block the bugs that are breeding in the water around their patio. I was going to order food, but the environment was...

Made reservation thru OpenTable last night for 5:30pm. Upon arrival, promptly seated with social distancing guidelines and masks. Disappointed with seating outside right next to gas pump so fuel smell at times. Also they have not updated there menu...no Monday to Friday promotions like it...says on there website. Manager came by to clarify. Overall, meal was good, weather cooperative, service excellent...would recommend to all. They have done a great job reopening to the public with there expanded patio and pandemic protocols in place.

First visit from out of town with friends and it won 't be our last. Great selection of items on their menu. Jen was our server and mentioned the portions were fairly large. It seemed to take a long time to get our food but we...weren 't in any hurry so weren 't concerned. However, I wonder what service will be like when the place is full and the weather is beautiful come next spring and summer. Looking forward to enjoying an outside dining experience when we return in the spring.

Great food. Terrific menu. Phenomenal service. Mackenzie was our VERY knowledgeable server. Everyone was so happy with their selections. Nice atmosphere. Would love to come back in the summer as the restaurant has a great view of the water.

Tried the Sandbar Waterfront Grill for dinner on their expanded patios. Very good service and food! Revamped menu for patio season. It was interesting that you now access the menu through your smartphone. Good experience... will be back!
