Honestly, I didn't have a great experience. I found the prices to be quite high for food that didn't meet my expectations in terms of quality. The bacon was undercooked and tasted more like it came from a package than from a butcher, which is what I would expect from a café or restaurant. The black pudding was served cold, and the soda far too lightly toasted, causing it to become extremely soggy when topped with sausage and bacon. The Eggs Benedict were very basic, and the hollandaise sauce was quite bland. Looks can be deceiving with this place. Looks the part so does the food. Was pricey but we said we will try it anyway. Cutlery came out dirty, and when I asked for them to be changed no apology was offered. Glasses also crumbs and bits around the bottom. Food was medium to low temperature, tomato on my fry was stone cold, soda was rock hard and I had 1 slice of toast on the side. where I come from it’s always a side of toast which is 2 slices) Bacon, egg sausage good quality but again not warm enough. When we arrived, the staff seemed disinterested and was quite rude while taking our order, as if our presence was a burden. They carelessly tossed our food onto the table, and we were left without cutlery or any offer of assistance. Our interaction consisted solely of ordering our food and saying "please" and "thank you." It felt like they'd rather be anywhere else than serving customers. The sandwich was tasty, and the coffee and frappes were enjoyable, but the soup was out of a can, which was disappointing. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad from here a few weeks ago. The attached photo is the salad once I opened it. All of it. I didn't take a single bite of it before taking this photo. Where was the lettuce? The lettuce that was there was the sad, hard bits that should've been discarded from the bottom of a head of lettuce. The bacon I didn't touch. I was so unbelievably disappointed in this. I used to enjoy going to the scullery when I was at University but I am so disheartened I can't bring myself to go back and try again after this. The coffee was good, but the staff was quite rude. There was hardly anyone there when we arrived. The cutlery was carelessly dumped on our table. I ordered soup with their sourdough bread, but they brought us white toast instead. I requested water but never received it, so I approached the counter, and the staff just handed me two empty glasses and told me to get a bottle from their reception. I would recommend avoiding this café unless you’re in dire need of food.

Busy day, so I waited in line to put in my order. Was told to sit down if I am going to order food. Found a table outside, but nobody came to take my order while everyone else got their coffee so I was left waiting for nothing in the cold. That was a bit unpleasant. The pasta I had there the other day was nice though

Fab place for breakfast. We didn't realize when we went to Derry that nothing is really open before 12pm on Sundays so we came across this little gem of a place and it was packed but so worth the wait. Food was fab and staff were lovely. Got a full Irish and an eggs Benedict and we were both happy with our feeds

A cozy café located in the heart of the city. I had a salad while my wife enjoyed a sweet soup. Both dishes were lovely, and they had a nice selection of cakes for dessert. The service was very friendly. Reserve uma mesa agora

Lovely wee cafe. Staff were friendly. Had a Irish fry, decent enough. Had worse and had better. Need more bread with the fry!!

I ordered the avocado toast without the egg, and it was fantastic! Everything is made fresh.
