Large car park and although not a prepossessing exterior warm and friendly inside with a very chatty and welcoming couple running it very much hands-on. Bar area and dining area, just two real ales including Harveys. Unfortunately no menu specials on our visit but the standard menu had a good choice and food included home cooked dishes, good sized portions and very good value. We shall include in our our list for West Sussex rural pub gatherings. Did not see the home made Spitfire in the garden which appears in the photos, maybe gone or my eyesight clouded by alcohol.

A perfect last minute decision to revisit a lovely country pub I last went to two or three years ago and I must say, it has only gotten better. The roast pork was outstanding, likewise for the treacle tart, as well as both being beautifully presented. This traditionally English pub is also worth a visit just for a drink, with the atmosphere vibrant and comforting and the staff very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning again

A superb lunch with very friendly and welcoming staff. The ambience was wonderful, it being decorated with WWII memorabilia. It is clearly run by people who appreciate this country's great history and the sacrifices of those who gave their lives so that it could remain free, an increasingly rare thing nowadays. It is certainly now on our must visit places for a lovely atmosphere.

I went to this restaurant tonight and experienced verbal abuse from the intoxicated female owner. She physically pushed me and yelled obscenities for no reason. This behavior was unacceptable for an adult. I hope this is not how all customers are treated at this establishment.

Good service and were very accommodating to our requests. Had the chicken skewers that were amazing.
