The Ship Inn - Reservar uma mesa

Despite living about 2 miles away, we 'd never actually been to the Ship Inn even though we 'd been recommended it several times. So when family came to visit us, we took the opportunity and went. It 's a lovely setting, in the village square, with a nice church opposite. We were spoilt for choice with the menu. My brother-in-law and mother-in-law both saying they could eat everything on the menu and were having a hard time picking. To cut a long story short, they both commented that the food was the best they had EVER eaten anywhere and that 's quite high praise from a 60yo and a 85yo who have eaten at their fair share of places in their lifetime. Friendly hosts and fantastic food. Linguine was great as was lemon sole. Reasonably priced compared to other places. We will definitely be back.
