The Sportsman Pub - Reservar uma mesa

fantastic night park-up accompanied by a very nice meal in the evening. the pub was easy to find with parking at the side and 'overrun' parking next to. kind greets at arrival and a very comprehensive menu, more like a restaurant than a pub. the whole staff went out of the way to make the experience of all very positiw. very quiet night and watched a frosty start and looking at sunrise over the fields. we were tempted to stay early, but had to make tracks so that the breakfast has to wait for our next visit!

great garden and playground. wonderful staff and excellent selection of softdrinks, spirituosen and local ales. they have private wooden pods on the terrace for distance eating at rain. probably advisable to make a phone call and book if they wanted to eat specifically in one of them. easy to cycle from hurstpierpoint/hassocks/Burgess mountain along safer lanes (and new bike path on improved a2300)

eating was absolutely amazing. the portions were very generous. I don't complain about it. if they are in the opposite and wish a wonderful Sunday roast. in any case they visit here. we could choose from bark, huh, pork and lamb. enough the choice I would say.

my wife and I sang here. I have to say this was one of the best meals I had everywhere. I'm usually not a fan of overpriced desserts, but the daily crumb was great and my main was too. the personal was really lovely. Top brands for all. we will return.

Came across this lovely pub by chance after visiting a local farm, the food was absolutely amazing and service matched it! The outside area was so peaceful and lovely. Will definitely be returning!
